Dust Devil Ranch Sanctuary for Horses takes in abused, neglected and abandoned horses that have been left at various areas around the state. The BLM, State of Utah and Iron County, along with others have brought numerous horses that were signed over or seized to our care. We provide complete veterinary & farrier care, rehabilitation and training so they can be adopted. Our adopters are the community at large, Law Enforcement, Search & Rescue, Equine Therapy Centers, just to name a few. Horses that cannot be adopted because of age and/or special needs will live their lives with love and care at our relaxed environment. We also are educating the community about horse care.

Dust Devil Ranch Sanctuary for Horses (DDR) is a horse rescue organization located in Southern Utah. Our purpose is to take in abused, neglected and abandoned horses from around the state.

Because we believe in the humane treatment of horses, as well as all other animals, we provide food, shelter, medical care, rehabilitation, adoption services, a permanent home when necessary, and lots of love and attention so that they may enjoy the dignified life they deserve.

Dust Devil Ranch Sanctuary for Horses (DDR) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization, and as such, we are supported through the generosity of private and corporate donations and sponsors. There are no salaries paid.

Dust Devil Ranch relies solely on volunteers who generously donate their time to feed, exercise, groom, and clean stalls, as well as facility maintenance, fundraising, public education and special events. Most importantly, DDR volunteers provide daily love and attention for all of the horses that have found sanctuary at the rescue.
