Beginning July 1, 2015, the City of Sedalia will assume operations of the Sedalia Animal Shelter. Adoption prices will be $85.00 for dogs and $65.00 for cats. This fee includes the spay and neuter of the animal, microchip implantation and registration, first set of vaccinations and one month of pet insurance coverage. You can view available animals at www.petango.com/sedaliaanimalshelter. Donations are always appreciated. The shelter is always in need of bleach, laundry soap, dish soap, dog and cat food, blankets, treats and toys. Monetary donations can be made at the shelter or at the City's Municipal Building.
