GPA-Central Texas is a chapter of Greyhound Pets of America, a national non-profit organization finding homes for dogs coming out of the racing industry.

The mission of Greyhound Pets of America Central Texas (GPA CenTex) is to find responsible loving homes for greyhounds, to acquaint the public with the desirability of greyhounds as pets and to inform them of greyhounds available for adoption.
The majority of our dogs come out of the racing industry, but we do accept other sighthounds from the animal shelter in support of our rescue community.
We do not have any kind of kennel or holding facility. All of our greyhounds are in volunteer foster homes.
