The heart of our operation is our TNR (trap, neuter and return) program. Through our spay/neuter and vaccinate program, adoption outreach and daily feedings, these needy animals are leading happier, healthier lives. Feral cats are returned to their colonies after surgery and vaccinations. Kittens and tame adults are taken into foster care until good permanent homes are found.

We occasionally receive calls asking that cats be removed from a particular location. Please understand that there is no place for these animals to go, and in fact they belong exactly where they are.

Trap, neuter and return is the only humane and effective method of controlling homeless cat populations. Cats are territorial and develop strong ties to their particular location, which is home to them, in the same way birds, squirrels, etc become comfortable in a particular place. It is cruel to trap them and remove them to a different location, and doing so most often results in new cats moving in to fill the void.

We have a new program that provides food and low- cost veterinary care for elderly local residents on fixed incomes, enabling them to keep their best friends. Donations are needed for this program. Both cat food and funding are gratefully accepted.

We also help owners locate lost cats and assist people who feel they must find a new home for their cat. This is home-to-home placement , the very best way to re-home your pet.


As northern Westchester’s only cat rescue organization, we find homes for over 350 kittens and adult cats each year.
