At Colombia Animal Rescue we work diligently to educate the public on the importance of responsible pet ownership, the humane treatment of animals, the importance of sterilization, and finding forever homes for these animals.

Hi,my name is Shawna-Lee White. For the last 15 years it has been my passion to rescue animals not only in Colombia but also all around the world. As a lifelong animal lover I believe that it is our moral responsibility to protect and improve the lives of abused, abandoned, and homeless animals and help them find their forever homes. I believe that dogs and cats provide humans with unconditional love and absolute loyalty and deserve to be treated as members of the family. At Colombia Animal Rescue I work diligently to educate the public on the importance of responsible pet ownership, the humane treatment of animals, and the importance of sterilization. I work closely with Dr.Ingrid Henandez Soto from the FRAD foundation in Cartagena. She has over 400 animals at the foundation, and tries to help ever animal she receives, with little outside support.
