Amber Glen Wellness Center is a leader in the nation for rehabilitating animals. We can now offer our services to rescues, veterans and disabled children.

Our goal is to help injured horses, disadvantaged children work together for wholeness. The common denominator between the three will enable the humans to assist the animal back to greatness. The end goal is the animal being brought back to greatness with the assistance of a disadvantaged child.

Dear Friends, please read below. I really need your help!!!

I would like to thank you for taking a moment of your time to learn about my 501c.3 and my mission to save animals. I started this 501c.3 to allow me to help more horses. My mission has been and continues to be to recue animals as well as work with other rescuers across the country to not only save lives but to rehabilitate them so they can live a normal, healthy and pain free life.

Everyone knows that I can't say no and I am always helping everyone and their animals in need. In 2004 my own horse Echo was at someone else’s barn when it started fire and sadly 75% of his body was burned. In search to find options to heal my horse, I realized there was no facility for injured horses or therapy facilities available. I found equine hospitals that would house him, but the fees were so astronomical that I could never afford them. I knew Echo was not ready to die, but he was in need of a lot of help and rehab. That is what started this mission of mine!!

Now we are in 2017 and I am very busy with the rehabilitation and physical therapy center. The facility has grown and is known all over the country for our huge success rate in saving horses. I still can't say no and I find myself daily helping people and their animals in need from all over. I started coming across animals that had been let down by their owners in this path. I started offering my services and facility to other animal rescues and developed a treatment for Creeping Indigo toxicity.

Why offer services to rescues? Rescues can take the animals in, do the best they can to rehabilitate the animal, but they can only go so far. They rely on foster parents, or they have to turn animals away because they are full. I started taking in the rescues, put them through the therapy machines, and brought the horses back to careers. The careers might be a little different, but they were animals that had confidence and a mission too. This enables the rescues to find homes for otherwise previously non adoptable animals, opening the doors for more animal in need of rescue.

Creeping Indigo you ask? Creeping Indigo is a toxic weed brought into Florida for grazing in the 1920's. It was researched by Universities to be deadly to all animals and no cure. In 2014 I was contacted by a young lady via Facebook who said something was killing their herd and asked if I could help. I started researching the weed and was able to come up with the counter to the weed toxins. To date I have saved over 40 critical horses affected by the weed, and was able to curb the others before they were beyond help.

I did all of this out of pocket and found how big the need is to keep moving forward. I opened a 501c.3 so that I could better serve the animals in need by having the proper funding to keep it running properly. You might ask, what is needed to rehab a horse? Well glad we are on the same page!

At Amber Glen, we have an Aquapacer (water treadmill for horses), Salt Water Cold Spa (keeps the water at a constant 32 degrees), Cold laser therapy, Vibrating plates (a stall full), Game Ready machines (same used on NFl players), wearable lasers and veterinarians. We are one of two in the state of Florida to have these machines and one (1) of seventeen (17) in the US. These machines are used daily for 14 hours a day. I am constantly working with veterinarians and universities on our therapy program and how incredibly successful we are. There is a lot more we could do and a lot more we could offer, with proper funding. What many people don't realize is that we also feed, house and care for the animals while in our care. We utilize every resource possible, but at the end of the day, funding is the key to their success.

Hurricane Irma put a hurt on our program as it did many, but we keep going and for the first time in my life, I am reaching out to my friends, family and their friends and family, asking all of you to help me keep the success stories going. Any donation would be incredibly appreciated and very much needed. Please remember us throughout the year too.

All Donations are 100% Tax Deductible and we will supply a receipt for your records & CPA.
