Fayette Friends of Animals

Fayette Friends is a no-kill animal shelter and rescue in Uniontown, PA.

Fayette Friends of Animals is a non-profit/for purpose, charitable 501c organization that believes in the humane treatment and improved quality of life for animals. This organization provides and maintains a fiscally responsible, temporary shelter to stray, abandoned or surrendered animals for the purpose of finding them permanent, loving homes. This shelter adheres to the no-kill philosophy that it does not euthanize healthy or treatable animals, even when the shelter is full. Euthanasia is reserved for terminally ill animals or those considered dangerous to public safety. It is believed that educating the public regarding spaying and neutering is the key to solving the problem of pet overpopulation.
