Rehabilitation and Training Facility

Solid Ground Equine is a rehabilitation and training facility. Working side by side with many Oregon rescues we often end up with the horses that have been through tough circumstances. We aren’t putting out million dollar performance horses but we strive to make every misfit into a perfect fit for someone.

As stated in our name we like to make sure that every horse has a “Solid Ground”. That can mean anything from a safe place to eat to a set of skills that are deeply rooted. There is no specific trainer that we follow in our methods as we feel that what works for one horse may never work for another. Supple mouths, flexible bodies, and willing minds are our concerns. No gimmicks or quick tricks here.
