Animal Shelter Aide: Improving the lives of our furry friends

To improve the quality of life and the quality of care for the animals at Coos County Animal Shelter. We will also try to help get our Coos County Animal Shelter animals adopted or out to rescues or maybe even foster homes. We will also help transfer to give them a shot at the life they deserve.

We specialize in fundraisers and local events to help promote awareness to the many needs of our local animal shelter. We provide funds for projects and help to improve the quality of life for the animals.

So far our fundraisers and local donations have helped build:
stable/stalls for incoming neglected livestock animals that the shelter was previously unable to help because there was no place to house them,

a new storage shed to house food donations and maintenence equipment,

coyote rollers: a designed 'roll' bar system installed on the play yard to help keep low fence jumping shelter dogs safe and contained

various funds have been used to help medical costs and spay/neuter sponsorship for shelter animals

new floors which helps bring out a nice visual to potential adopters and the general public.. (before this installation the shelter had old grey concrete floors)

a high efficiency washer and dryer system (the shelter had gone years without a washer and dryer.. could you imagine all of that dirty laundry? Animals were not provided clean bedding to sleep on because there was no way to wash it)

Possible Upcoming Projects:

A play yard cover for the animals to use during the rainy season so they can have morning and evening play time without getting cold and soaked.

A meet and greet area for potential adopters to meet with potential adoptable canines

A fence for the stable area.

New cat containment facility to ensure the better housing and well being of our feline friends.
