Our mission is to provide shelter, food and vetting to any dog in need whose owner cannot keep them, who has lost their way and can't find a way back, and who have been abandoned due to unfortunate circumstances. We will help them on to the next phase of their lives through partnerships with rescues who will place them in a loving, permanent forever home.

We take in dogs due to many different circumstances - stray, surrender, injured, ill, pregnant mommas, little puppies. Most are primarily from the reservation but we don't turn anyone away and we have taken some in from other parts of North Dakota. They are only temporarily with us while a rescue is found. During that time they are on a 10 day hold to be sure they are healthy and they get vet checked and get vaccinations if they are needed. We are very proud of our success rate in delivering healthy dogs and puppies to rescues so that they can set them up in a loving foster home and help them find a forever home.
