Mission Statement: ARRR Rescue and Retirement Ranch provides a permanent and safe home for a variety of farm animals that otherwise have nowhere to go. Animals that come to live here may have suffered abuse, neglect, threat of slaughter, or simply been caught in a situation where the owner was no longer able to care for them. We offer proper shelter, a healthy diet, room for exercise, grooming appropriate for the species, and daily socialization. ARRR also provides regular veterinary care in combination with holistic practices such as homeopathy and massage when available. Through patience, confidence building and love, we encourage each of our retirees and rescued animals to be who he or she is at heart. We believe all creatures have souls, therefore all have the right to live out their natural lives with respect and dignity, and to know what is to be loved.

Welcome to our ranch! We are embarking on a new journey, one which we have dreamed of for years. This, a former cattle ranch and wheat farm, has transitioned into a sanctuary for rescued and retired farm animals of all types. The ranch is run by a landlocked pirate and his wife. Of course we couldn't do it without the help of our First Mate (aka- ranch foreman) Juan . His dedication means everything, especially considering the hot summer months when the work days are long and hectic, followed by the long winter months which are not only a bit dull but can be extremely cold. ARRR is fortunate enough to have occasional volunteers as well! They provide a little extra TLC. The number of animals we take in will remain small until we are set up to handle more. We are just getting our feet wet and hope that this journey will result in a comfortable and safe home for many critters. Please jump aboard (like our page) and follow along with the adventure!
