Chicago Animal Advocates

As a licensed 501c3, we believe in rescuing animals from high risk euthanizing facilities, and finding them a forever home.

Chicago Animal Advocates is a non for profit, no-kill, volunteer-run animal rescue. We are dedicated to rescuing animals from shelters where the animals are at high-risk of euthanasia due to overpopulation, sickness, specific breed, or in danger of abuse or neglect. We believe in educating the public in promoting spaying and neutering animals and the dangers it causes when this is not supported.

According to the ASPCA website, approximately 2.7 million animals are euthanized every year in the United States alone. We at Chicago Animal Advocates want to help lower that number by rescuing high risk animal in Illinois. As we grow we plan to branch out and help wherever we can. We are also helping local families that are no longer able to care for the pets (for various reasons) to re-home those animals instead of having them end up at a euthanizing facility.

Educating the public about spaying and neutering animals is very important to us. This is a major problem in society, and is adding to the overpopulation issue. We have very STRICT spay and neuter policies and do NOT allow any of the animals in our care or permanent homes to become pregnant or to be used as a stud.

As we grow we have many goals we would like to achieve that will help out communities and overpopulation. Keep checking back to see what new project we’re working on next!
