Facebook will be matching donations to non-profit organizations as part of Giving Tuesday and we want to make every dollar count! HSDC is a 501c3 non-profit organization which means we get no government funding. We rely on the generosity of our supporters to help care for the homeless pets of our community!
We want to be transparent and share the cost for us to do an intake, or rescue, of a sick animal versus the cost of the adoption fee. As you can see, we do not make a profit from saving these sweet animals which is why your donation is so important.
Making a donation in someone's name can also make a great Christmas gift for that hard to shop for person🎁

Meet Charlie 🐶! We were called to rescue Charlie by a concerned neighbor. Charlie's owner had passed away and he was left outside chained to a tree. He was immediately given medical care and then taken to a foster home
where he has acclimated to life in a warm, safe home. Charlie is a one year old, yellow lab who enjoys play time, snacks, cuddling and belly rubs. He is good with people but is cautious around other dogs. Charlie is house trained and walks well on a leash.

Our local friends from Discers-4-Whiskers provided a generous donation to our pet food pantry yesterday. We were able to help feed 33 dogs 🐶 and 12 cats 🐱. We thank you from the bottom of our furry hearts ❣️
