Rubarthia Rescues is a volunteer based organization serving the Southern California area, dedicated to saving homeless and abandoned dogs from overcrowded animal shelters.

Founded in 2017, Rubarthia Rescues’ ultimate goal is to create a world where no dogs are killed in shelters due to overcrowding or because they are considered to be un-adoptable. Leaving all dogs with loving and permanent homes; no matter what their age or condition!

Rubarthia Rescues places dogs into temporary foster homes where they are socialized, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and treated for any medical or behavioral conditions limiting their adoptability. We actively search for permanent homes by social media and marketing exposure, by promotion on our website and by organizing mobile adoption fairs and special events that provide access to potential adopters.
