CNC RESCUE INC is a non-profit dog sanctuary that provides a safe, social environment for rural pets that need to be rescued from overcrowded shelters

Seek responsible individuals to adopt abused, neglected and unwanted animals
Raise the awareness and availability of shelter animals-loving companions and fantastic family pets
Decrease euthanasia rates in shelters and communities in need, by providing high exposure adoption opportunities
Increase the public’s exposure to shelter animals and their plight and ultimately increase the chances of these animals finding a loving home
Work with local communities and shelters to educate and inform the general public of the importance of population and control, through spay/neuter programs•Aggressively seek public and private support, to enhance and expand our educational adoption and population control programs


We rescue dogs from all over south central Texas, when shelters are full or a dog is slated for euthanasia. We work primarily with surrounding rural shelters as these shelters
have less visability (which means a higher euthanasia rate. We rely on public support!These canine companions come live on our 155 acre ranch until they find a home or for the rest of their lives which ever comes first. Few of these canine friends will not be adoptable and live their lives out with us.
We were fortunate to have found a benefactor in Peggy McConnell, through her generosity of land and friendship, we have been able to provided the care (socialization and medical), shelter and food for many homeless pups and dogs.
