Animal Place provides sanctuary to neglected and abused farmed animals, promotes a vegan lifestyle, and reduces the suffering of farm animals through advocacy and outreach.

Whether working as an animal care or advocacy intern, our live-in internship program is a memorable experience! Located on 600-acres in Grass Valley, interns become intimately familiar with the operations of a nonprofit sanctuary, the behavior of farmed animals in a non-production setting, and enjoy an amazing experience working with like-minded people. Here you will learn about the interns who accomplish the incredible task of caring for and advocating on behalf of farmed animals.
