A 4 year old visitor said it best.... "Anyone can save horses...it just takes a little land, a little money, a little time, and a lot of heart!"

We run our rescue on just 5 acres of land. We started with the mission to save one horse at a time, and within days we had 3. We currently have 22. We use our own personal money, and the occasional donation from others. We get calls from citizens and sheriffs alike, to come out and rescue horses that have been abused, neglected or starved, either of food or love. Our rescues need vet care, food, shelter, training, and most of all, tlc Many have to learn how to trust again, and that takes time. They don't have a limit on how long they're here, and in fact there are a couple that are now here to stay. We do try to rehome them into secure, stable homes when their time comes and they are ready, but only they are the judge of that... Our buildings and structures aren't pretty, and anyone is free to come out and see, we don't spend money on what looks good, we spend it on what the horses need. We have hosted school and club groups for tours, and even some photo sessions, and we also do what we can to give back to the community in which we live.
