MISSION STATEMENT

Our Purpose is to help our communities (Mason Valley and
Smith Valley) provide assistance in the funding of sterilization,
immunization, and in maintaining the general health and well being of
companion animals. Our goal is also the education the local population
in the areas of raising Healthy pets and maintaining their welfare for a
successful human/animal bond. Our society will also aid and
encourage the placement of abandoned and surrendered animals at
our local shelter.


In 2010, YAPS provided 50% vouchers for 298 pets, alterd 101 feral cats, and 31 shelter dogs.

In 2009, YAPS provided 50% vouchers for 229 pets, 44 feral cats, and 27 shelter dogs.

Overhead and opertaing costs are 4%, 96% of every dollar earned goes directly into the various programs provided.
