This page does not represent a rescue group or shelter. Sheila volunteers with local shelters and rescues to promote adoptable dogs in the Lake Area so she posts them on this page. Sheila is a passionate dog lover who has volunteered with local rescue groups for 14 years and shares adoptable animals and animal welfare information to educate pet owners. Sheila has helped coordinate local rescue events such as "Go Orange" to Prevent Animal Cruelty and many other fundraising/education events to promote ongoing pet rescue in the Calcasieu Parish area. Sheila previously wrote a column for Examiner.com about rescue efforts and issues in the Lake Charles area.
