The City of Gladstone Animal Shelter is a municipal animal shelter run by the City of Gladstone. We offer many educational programs for animals and people.

Our mission is to provide a short term safehaven for unwanted and stray animals while we look for permanent adoption options. We offer educational programs for church, school, scouting and other civic groups as well. Our adoption program is always expanding and improving. Our animal shelter is located at 3960 N E 76 Street. We are next door to Happy Rock Park. Major intersection is NE 72 Street and N Prospect. Take NE 72 Street east from Prospect and travel east to the first four way stop at NE 72 Street and N Antioch. Turn left on N Antioch to NE 76 Street and then right on NE 76 Street. Our shelter is the first building on the left as you travel east on NE 76 Street.
