These are our dogs who are the long timers - overlooked by most adopters but still in need of their forever homes! All special in their own way.

Stray Rescue is a genuine no-kill shelter - not a "low-kill" shelter, but a no kill shelter. We have over 100 dogs here, some of whom have their quirks, acquired from their years of living on the streets or being tossed aside by careless owners. As a result, they've been here at our shelter for a year or more - some even several years.

As much as Stray Rescue does to rehabilitate and enrich the lives of these long-timers, nothing compares to the stability, love, and bond which comes from that of a forever home. We don't euthanize because we believe there's a perfect home for every pup and because every single one of our dogs is amazing in their own unique way. Will you be their perfect home?

The Forget Me Nots are a group of Stray Rescue's adoptable dogs who are still looking for their forever homes. These guys are often overlooked by most adopters for various reasons: they might need to be the only 4-legged companion who has your affection, or they might need to meet you a couple of times to be sure they can trust you - but once they do, you'll be their best friend for life!

Due to the various quirks these dogs might have, we offer a lifetime of post-adoptive support, including free training (even in-home).
