Barb’s Precious Rescue and Adoption Center is a safe and humane haven for cats. We provide medical attention, food, shelter and LOVE.

Our mission at Barb’s Precious Rescue and Adoption Center is to create a safe and humane haven by providing medical attention, food, shelter and love for cats and dogs that have been abused, abandoned or neglected. We are a volunteer, not-for-profit, 501(C)(3) organization with all funds directly assisting our animals, and we are a no-kill facility.

We are now OPEN with an initial focus on cats and kittens. Dogs and puppies will also be available for adoption following completion of an addition to the building in 2018. The animals in our care will be provided with a safe, loving environment, and will ultimately be placed in a loving forever home.

Our compassionate volunteers are committed to caring for and socializing our rescued friends. Our home-style open environment allows our healthy rescue animals to enjoy their transition in a cage-free environment. Sick or injured animals will be lodged in separate quarters where they have a quiet environment in which to recover before being placed for adoption.

All pets in our care will receive the specific and unique attention they require and deserve. We believe that every animal deserves the best care possible in an environment in which they can flourish.

Our open house is just SIX days away! We hope to see many of you next Saturday afternoon!

We are excited to offer guided tours of the facility we are so proud of. We’ll show you what’s newly constructed, how things have changed and what is yet left to accomplish. We still need to raise another $250000 to complete the expansion so donations for the funding of Phase would be greatly appreciated! Love ❤️🐈‍⬛🐈 - it’s why we do what we do. And…while we strive and hope and work towards finding loving homes for as MANY Rescues as possible, we are equally here for those who are happiest with us. For those who have their friends and who call Barb’s home. We are their safe haven and family and they are loved. And love, is beautiful.
