MARIBBA was found in a carrier at the front door. There was a note saying that the family got a new puppy and she didn't like the puppy so they put her outside on the porch for a time. At some point they dumped her at the shelter and said that because she was shy we should just euthanize her!!! MARIBBA is a beautiful girl with stunning green eyes and a sleek coat. She is a bit shy and will need a patient guardian to take care of her. She is nice, but can be a bit sassy. She can be shy, but will come out of the hidey if you pet her. Loves attention, nuzzles , and gives kisses. REALLY likes her cheeks and under her chin scratched.

RICK was adopted as a kitten but sadly his owner's living arrangements have changed and she has to move to a home where someone is highly allergic to cats. She is devastated and RICK is too. He is very, very scared at the shelter. His whole world has been turned upside down.
RICK is a front declaw!
The following is bio information given by his former owner. She did call him Sebastian but for record keeping we are using his original name.
RICK is AMAZING!!! He will be shy at first and very scared until he gets to know you. A quiet house would be the best fit for him. He loves to be on your lap or squeezed in the chair beside you. He talks to you if you are talking on the phone or singing. He will reach out his paw to touch your face. He knows when you are upset and will reach his paw out to you. He loves to play with mice that have catnip in them and will chase them if you throw them. He, also, likes to play with fleece strips. He will lay down in your path and wait for belly rubs. He will let you know if his food or water bowl are low. He needs to be close to his person all the time. He needs to be close to his person all the time - if you move to a different chair he moves with you. If you love him he will love you right back.
Please help him get over the trauma of being separated from the only person he has known since he was a kitten.

SPRINT is our ghost cat - you don't even know that he is in the room if you don't look for him. He came to us as a stray in danger when the weather was so cold in 2019. He is a typical cat and only wants attention when he wants it. He loves to sit in high spots and survey the land. If you pet his head he will melt into your hand and pretty much beg for more. He has a very soft shiny gray coat. Do not come in and expect to have Sprint in your lap. You will need to climb on the ladder to give him love. We truly believe that in a quiet, patient house SPRINT will blossom. The key word is patient. If you are looking for an independent cat SPRINT is your boy!!! SPRINT came to us in January 2019.

Kelso is used to the company of other cats. He is quite timid, but just needs a little reassurance that he is safe. He also has a chronic minor eye issue that causes one eye to be a little bit runny off and on, but it doesn't bother him. It just needs to be wipe with a wet cottonball. Give him a chance, and you will find him to be an extremely gentle, loving cat who enjoys snuggles and belly rubs and chasing the red dot. He also has the cutest squeak of a mew. He will need a very patient adopter.

AMARII was adopted as a kitten and returned after 7 years!!! His former owner claimed he drools and she didn’t like that. AMARII is super shy but sweet. He will come to you if you offer your hand. He loves whole body rubs and he just melts into you when you pet him. He is super affectionate and gives kisses when snuggling. He is going to need a very special and patient adopter to love him and show him he will be ok.

HANK has had his fill of street scene and has noticed that we have warm beds and good food. He was a transfer from the local animal shelter. HANK is the sweetest cat and loves attention but is content to just lay back and relax. HANK is a sturdy 12# boy who is FIV+.

AGGIE is a lovebug when it comes to people but she does not really care for other animals. She doesn’t mind being loved on. She did great with a young boy who volunteers. She purred the whole time she was held and scratched by the young volunteer. Aggie came to us as a FRONT DECLAW.
