Friends of Ionia County Animal Shelter

This site is run by volunteers, not the shelter itself! Any complaints need to be addressed via private messages.

Our mission is to increase adoptions by posting the animals; this allows an easy way for the public to view current cats and dogs at the Shelter. As our page grows, and our relationship with the shelter expands, we are also hoping to aid in helping reunite owners with their lost pets.

ANY INAPPROPRIATE COMMENTS WILL BE DELETED.
THIS PAGE IS NOT TO DEBATE POLICIES AND PROCEDURES, ONLY TO ADVERTISE ANIMALS!

WE ARE VOLUNTEERS THAT RUN THIS PAGE AND DO NOT WORK AT THE SHELTER! Our hopes at this site are to help find more "forever" homes for the homeless pets the shelter houses. At this point we are using pictures of adoptable animals off the shelter's Petfinder page. Our hopes for the future are to be able to provide better pictures along with posting the pictures of new incoming strays as well. Please understand that most animals are brought in as strays and there is no known history. It is best to bring your children and any currently owned dogs for a meet and greet with the dog you're looking to adopt.
