Blues City Animal Rescue is an organization based out of Memphis, TN. Our mission is to help foster, nurture and care for many unwanted dogs and puppies until they can find their chance at a new, wonderful life.

Blues City Rescue is a not-for-profit rescue program whose primary purpose is to relocate dogs and puppies from the rural south to the Midwest. The goal is to place as many dogs and puppies in new homes where they will have the most wonderful lives and become part of a new family.

Blues City Rescue fosters all of our adoptable animals in local foster homes.

All dogs come from various backgrounds – abuse, neglect, homeless, injured, unwanted, unloved, scared, alone – but they are all given the necessary love and attention they need while they wait to find their fur-ever homes.

Blues City Rescue transports and travels to the Midwest at least once per month to transport our adopted (and sometimes waiting to be adopted) animals to their new homes.
