Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter

Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter is an Open Admission Shelter that takes in any animal that comes to our door in need.

Through community involvement, education, adoption, and humane law enforcement, we work to preserve the well being of all animals and bring an end to the homeless animal crisis.

The following are community services that are offered through our Animal Shelter:
Adoption
Lost and Found
Receiving of stray and owner surrendered animals
Dog Licensing
Cat trap rental
Education

Animal rescue
Pick up of stray or owned animals
Response to animal bites and rabies control
Dog licensing
Response to community complaints about nuisance animals (noise, running loose, etc.)
Cruelty investigation

There are two locations 2200 7th Ave Santa Cruz, Ca and 508 Airport Way Watsonville, CA.
