The Newton County Animal Shelter is located on 3210 West 100 North in Morocco, IN; this is right off of 41, just a few miles south of Lake Village.

Our mission is to care for the homeless animals of Newton county and to find them the homes that they so desperately need.

The Newton County Animal Shelter works with Newton County Animal Control. After a five day holding period all animals brought in as strays by Newton County Animal Control will be placed up for adoption on this page. Adoption through the Newton County Animal Shelter is a simple process and is free, donations are accepted. Upon adopting an animal the adopter has 30 days to have the animal seen by a vet and have that animal spayed/neutered. If you fail to do this it is a $200 fine. We are dedicated to finding the animals of Newton county loving homes and a good quality of life.
