Quad City Animal Welfare Center

The mission of the QCAWC is to operate a shelter for homeless animals, to offer a spay and neuter program and provide humane education. We are the only full-service, no-kill shelter serving the Quad-Cities Area.

The Quad City Animal Welfare Center is a no-kill shelter founded in 1977, with the purpose of saving animals one life at a time. We have two locations:

Adoption & Education Center
724 2nd Ave. W. Milan, IL 61264

Spay/Neuter & Wellness Clinic
612 1st St. W. Milan, IL 61264

Our mission is threefold: operating a shelter for homeless animals, having a spay/neuter program, and providing humane education to the community. Through this approach, we are able to impact the lives of thousands of animals and people annually by bringing pets and people together for the benefit of both and putting a dent in pet population.

Please note any comments made on Facebook may be used for QCAWC marketing purposes online, at the shelter, or at other locations. Third party fundraising posts are not allowed on the page to reduce confusion and protect our donors from potential scams. Please message or call us if you need help, however, and we will do our best to connect you with resources.
