to rescue pugs, pug mixes and (non-pug dog breeds as space allows), provide veterinary care, spay/neuter, vaccinate, heartworm test. then place them into approved loving, permanent homes.

GAPR has an adoption procedure, to possibly adopt, email us: pugrsq@aol.com and we'll be happy to email you an adoption application. It needs to be filled out completely, signed and dated and then mailed back to GAPR via USPS. Please include references and contact them to inform them that we will be calling to speak with them. Once the adoption application is processed, one of our volunteers will contact you to arrange a home inspection. once this is completed we will contact you as to whether you've been approved or not, if approved to this point, you will be scheduled in by appointment only, to visit with our rescues and we will be happy to help match you to the right pug rescue that will fit best into your family and home life. there is an adoption fee and it varies dependant on each individual pug rescue.
