We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and we are dedicated to Promoting the Humane Treatment of Horses and Mules through Legislation, Education, Investigation and Intervention if necessary. We work with our local Veterinarians and Humane Societies to ensure the proper Rehabilitation needs for each animal received at our farm.


Paws Ranch Equine Rescue, Inc. is a Non Profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the compassionate care of equine. We are a volunteer based hoofed animal welfare facility. Paws Ranch was established in 2007 to ensure quality care and treatment of horses through intervention, education, and outreach in Rutherford County North Carolina. Since our beginning, Paws Ranch has been a haven where horses, mules and donkeys have found a safe environment to thrive free from abuse, hunger and sadness and given a purpose and not just an existence. We provide care for unwanted, abused or neglected horses Since its inception, Paws Ranch has gone from a small farm that sheltered only a few horses to a full service well-respected rehabilitation facility housing up to 20 horses at any given time.
