The Old Poor Farm is a non-profit animal sanctuary which operates on the historical Dodge County, Nebraska Poor Farm homestead.

Our mission here at The Old Poor Farm is to provide much deserved care to those animals and birds who have suffered disfigurement through no fault of their own to live pain free full lives without the worry of future abuse.

The Old Poor Farm operates on four acres in Dodge County, Nebraska on the historical original homestead site of the Dodge County Poor Farm. Once a home for people in need has now become a no-kill refuge for abused, unwanted and handicapped creatures.
