Hello and thank you for your interest in House of Hound. HOH is a state and city licensed non-profit 501(c)3 now based in Butler, Missouri. We are a very small organization but know that we are needed and have been helping to make a real difference in the lives of many animals and humans alike.

When I started out in 2014, one of the main reasons that I personally wanted to start a legitimate non-profit rescue is so I can have the opportunity to actually pull dogs from death row in the local high kill rate shelters and that is not possible without legitimate rescue status.

Even though our name is House of Hound, we will try and help any animal that is in distress or in need of assistance but our primary mission is to help save our canine friends.

House of Hound is not affiliated with any other organizations although we hope to work with many other shelters and rescue groups locally and nationally.
