To educate the community of the importance of spaying or neutering their pets, the health and safety benefits, and the impact it has on the stray and abandoned animals in the community.
Educating on the proper training of a dog, and it's owner to make it a happy home for everyone, preventing future abandonmet or frustration.
Lastly, finding the perfect home for each animal, always a happy ending.
O.C.A.F is a small non-profit organization located in Oceana County, MI specializing in caring for neglected, abused and abandoned animals, and placing them into caring homes.
OCAF also assists in transportation to C-snip for pets you may already have that are in need of lower priced spaying/neutering. Rabies shots also available for extra cost with this service.
This organization is all non profit, so we ask for help from the community.Cash boxes can be found in various locations around the community such as Hansens grocery store, Pentwater Convenience Center, Pet Hollywood Grooming in Pentwater to name a few. Checks or money orders can be sent to the above post office box. Cat food, dog food, leashes, blankets, kitty litter and any pet supplies are also wonderful donations, always appreciated and always useful. These can always be dropped off at any adopt-a-thon, or you can contact myself or Kathie Babbin at our email addresses listed below on how to get these products to us.
