ABC Clinic of Pet Refuge

Pet Refuge and Dr. Kari Hatch are proud to have opened Michiana's first low-cost spay/neuter center--the Animal Birth Control Clinic (The ABC Clinic) in June 2011.

One thing has become clear: spay/neuter is key to eliminating pet overpopulation. If more pets are fixed, there will be fewer litters. If there are fewer litters, there will be fewer animals for shelters and rescue groups to take in, thereby reducing stress and financial burden on these organizations and the communities where they reside.

Pet Refuge is able to open this much-needed low-cost clinic with monies awarded from a generous grant from PetSmart Charities as well the support of Pet Refuge and The Pet Refuge Guild. We are excited by this opportunity to give back to our community by offering low-cost spay/neuter services to pet guardians, people caring for free roaming cats, animal shelters, rescue groups and the general public with no income restrictions.

Pet Refuge is proud that we have this opportunity to help so many people and animals through spay/neuter, and we're excited about our future. Please visit the Pet Refuge website or follow our Facebook page for updates on this wonderful new service. If you are interested in donating to help us keep the clinic operational, you may send a checks payable to ABC Clinic and sent to 4525 South Burnett Drive South Bend, IN. 46614 or send a donation using Paypal.
