Draft Gratitude is an all volunteer organization dedicated to saving the lives of draft horses that were bound for slaughter, victims of neglect or abuse, or whose owners are unable to provide for their needs.

It is our commitment to:

Save draft horses from slaughter by providing a second chance and a place to call home.

Pair healthy, experienced working horses with qualified adoptive homes to be used for light work including farming, homesteading, pleasure driving and riding, and/or companionship.

Educate the community of all ages about draft breeds, proper care and nutrition, uses, abilities, perils and prevention of unplanned breeding, and their role in the past and the future.
