Chesapeake Cats and Dogs
Our Mission: "Working to provide a life of love and dignity for all animals"
Chesapeake Cats & Dogs (CCAD) is a no-kill animal rescue and lifetime haven that is dedicated to rehabilitating and providing a second chance to cats and dogs that have been abandoned, abused, lost, strayed, or surrendered. When we take in an animal, they are with us until we can place them in a good, loving home.
Through our community outreach events around the region, we teach and encourage responsible pet ownership and pet population control. Our all-volunteer organization works diligently to locate loving and responsible owners who wish to make their new pets members of their family—forever!
CCAD remains committed to helping end the needless overpopulation, death, abuse, and neglect of dogs and cats in our area and improving their lives as well as the lives of their new owners.
Chesapeake Cats and Dogs is a 501(c)3 no-kill rescue and lifetime haven located on Maryland’s Eastern Shore on Kent Island. Our cats are housed in our cage-free adoption center while our dogs are all in foster homes.
