We are excited to share with our community our adoptable pets, as well as fun and exciting happenings here at the shelter.


We are the City of Soldotna Animal Control Department. We enforce the Animal Control ordinances of the City of Soldotna. We house the City's homeless and impounded animals. We offer an adoption program for all pets that qualify to be placed up for adoption.

We would like to ask that all questions about shelter operations, questions about our adoptable pets and all other shelter business be directed to our office. Our Facebook page is for sharing our adoptable pets, and facts about the shelter with the community. We can be reached at 262-3969. This way we can answer any questions in a timely manner as we are only able to check on our page a couple times a week. We appreciate your understanding, and hope you continue to enjoy our page.
