The Dublin Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals mission is to prevent cruelty and neglect of animals through fostering the compassionate relationship between animals and people. It serves all of Dublin city and county and directly reaches more than 250,000 people every year through its Animal Shelter in Rathfarnham, Mobile Information Unit, Mobile Veterinary Clinic, Education department through talks and tours, collaboration with the UCD Veterinary School, prison services, services for underprivileged youth and youth at-risk, and special events.
