TO WORK TOWARDS A DAY WHEN EVERY DOG ON THE ISLAND HAS A HAPPY HOME.

To this end, we dedicate much of our resources to rescuing and rehoming German Shepherds of all ages, but other large breeds and mixes too. These are the dogs least likely to be chosen for adoption by visitors to the municipal pounds. They can sometimes take longer to rehome but with your support, we can offer them hope and the chance they deserve.

Working with an alliance partner in Germany for rehoming, we also rescue as many smaller breeds and mixes as possible from life threatening situations – particularly from the municipal and private kill pounds such as Inca Canera. Your help in establishing further networks and alliances in Europe, specifically in Germany and UK, would be truly appreciated so that many more of Mallorca’s stray and abandoned dogs, of all ages and sizes, can lead safe and happy lives in loving homes.

We are happy to be working closely with other rehomers on the island with similar goals. Recognising, though, that we cannot adopt our way out of the current problems, we also promote the benefits of spay/neuter to help reduce the number of unwanted cats and dogs who would otherwise end their lives miserably in the municipal pounds where euthanasia is the common and shocking reality.
