The Santa Barbara Bird Sanctuary, www.sbbird.org, is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of injured, orphaned, abused and abandoned parrots and companion birds.

We act as a resource within the community to help promote responsible bird ownership through education and owner support.

Our web site provides information on many topics such as general bird care, nutritional information, sanctuary events, ways to contribute, and many other valuable resources. Our efforts are to provide owners, or soon to be owners, a place to find the answers they may be looking for.
