WMAH strives to educate the public about the plight of "pocket pets" in the pet trade, and eliminate animal neglect and cruelty.

Without Malice Animal Haven was founded to provide small animals a second, third, or fourth chance at life. Our main priority is to pull pocket pets from animal shelters, as most shelters are not equipped or trained on caring for their specialized needs. We have chosen to keep the organization small to prevent crowded housing and allow our few volunteers to devote more time to each individual animal. We believe that is more important to provide outstanding care to a manageable number, versus minimal care to too many.

WMAH currently specializes in providing care for domestic rats and ferrets. As our knowledge and resources grow, we hope to be able to expand our organization and take in other species.
