It was not until May 6, 2014 that Rescue Row was approved by the City and Country of San Francisco and finally recognized as a San Francisco staple. Thousands of homeless animals find their forever home on Rescue Row.Attractions and characteristicsRescue Row itself is a one city block long street running south from 15th Street to 16th on Alabama Street. It is parallel to and in between Harrison and Florida streets. It is roughly between Mission District and the Potrero Hill.
