Piper's Rescue has been finding rescue pets loving homes since spring 2011.

Piper’s Rescue is a non-profit, no-kill, volunteer animal rescue organization serving in Calhoun County, Alabama. We are dedicated to rescue dogs and cats left homeless for whatever reason – those in shelters where they are at risk of euthanasia, those given up by their owners and those in danger of abuse or neglect. We also work under contract with a local business, AMK9, to find homes for their training “washouts” and their CWD (Contract Working Dog) retirees. We place animals in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process that finds good matches. Animals in our care are spayed/neutered and receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment. They are cared for and socialized at Piper’s Playhouse or a caring foster home while they await placement in permanent homes. We strive to work with area shelters and other rescue organizations to develop a network of support and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless pets.
