Golden Rescue South Florida (GRSF) is a
non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization that was
founded in 1998 due to the large amount of
unwanted dogs. Our mission is to help decrease the
increasingly high rate of euthanasia at south Florida
animal shelters. GRSF is a devoted volunteer based
organization that is dedicated to helping homeless
Golden Retrievers in south Florida. GRSF provides
adoptive homes to Golden Retrievers who are
abandoned, mistreated, neglected, or left in pounds
throughout southern Florida. GRSF also provides
temporary shelter, needed health and emergency
care, permanent homes for unwanted, abused or
abandoned Golden Retrievers. GRSF continues to
provide education to the community regarding the
care of Golden Retrievers and other rescued breeds.

GRSF is an all volunteer, not-for-profit organization
that rescues and adopts the unwanted, abused,
neglected, or abandoned Golden Retriever. Each
Golden that we take in receives veterinary care and
a comprehensive evaluation of temperament prior
to finding them a forever home. The dogs are placed
in foster homes until adopted. We do not have
kennels. They are treated as a member
of the foster’s family.
