WE ARE NOT ASSOCIATED WITH THE DOG WARDEN's OFFICE. The Dog Warden is the county facility for temporarily housing stray and unwanted dogs.

This page is run by a group of on-line volunteers helping to find owner's, rescues and adoptive homes for the dogs at the Huron County Dog Warden office.
We are NOT employee's of the Dog Warden's office & have NO affiliation with the Dog Warden's Office, except for getting info off cage cards & taking pics to share on the internet.

Any degrading or browbeating comments will be deleted. We are trying to establish a positive friendship with the Warden & his facility.

If you have a missing dog & reside in Huron County, you may post a pic with details but please delete it or message us so we can delete it once your dog is found.

This site is not for the posting of animals for sale/free, animal supplies for sale, or animals needing rescue from other shelters. There are other pages for that. Thanks. ~Jenn~

Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Our dogs are up for adoption on a first come first serve basis. Drive time holds will be considered on a case to case basis.
If there is more than one person waiting at the shelter when we open we will have a drawing to determine who may adopt.
Please call ahead to make sure the dog you are interested in is still available.
The adoption fee is $34.75 and includes a current dog license for the year.
Cash or check ONLY is accepted for adoption fees.
