The Cabarrus County Animal Shelter is a managed admission animal shelter run by the County. We do not turn away any animal in need. We accept stray drop offs during open business hours, but we do require pre-scheduled appointments for owner surrenders.

Adoptions can go to the shelter monday-friday from 12noon to 4pm. For questions regarding adoptions please email cabarrusrescueefforttb@gmail.com

Pull fee's can be paid at time of pull or by calling 704-920-3291 to pay by phone. Sponsors can call the same number to honor pledges.
