Saving neglected, abused, orphaned, injured and displaced pets due to natural disasters, owner surrender or stranded strays, actually any animal that crosses our path. We are a team that rescues, rehabilitates, locates foster homes and re-home pets to forever homes. We are an non kill organization. We only believe in euthanasia if the animal would not have a quality of life due to serious injury or condition.

In December 2011 founder Kim Fraser-Diilon, wife of a US ARMY Sergeant, while always being involved in animal rights and care, was contacted with an urgent request for a loving family for a Pitbull-Boxer mix, Sasha. Her owner, also a Sergeant in the U.S. Army, which is of course Kim's weakness, was on a short notice deployment and was being sent away in mere days. He was having trouble finding a home for Sasha and was nearing the unfortunate realization he may have to put her in a shelter.

After hearing about this situation Kim set out to find a family, and knew exactly who to turn to. Co-founder, Brian Kolb, was looking to adopt and within a day Sasha was in his care and our Sergeant was put at ease that she was in a loving home.

With the creation of SASHA'S MISSION we are planning on making many more connections like this. Too many times are our service men and women forced to put their beloved pets in a shelter because of a lack of able or willing friends or family to take care of them. With SASHA'S MISSION we will put loving families in contact with military personal being deployed in order to provide a temporary home for their loved one until they return to us from service.
