Tails Humane Society is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization that is committed to building a compassionate community through the care of companion animals.



Additional services provided through partnership with other non-profits:

In partnership with the Voluntary Action Center, we provide free pet food, supplies and veterinary care to Meals on Wheels clients who own pets.

We also provide free boarding to the pets of domestic violence victims in partnership with Safe Passage Domestic Violence Center, so victims can leave their abuser without fearing for the safety of their pets.

Through our Catalyst Program, teen and pre-teen kids are provided with supervised animal care opportunities. In experiencing the almost universal power of pets, they learn about compassion and gain a sense of self respect along the way.
