The Alicia Marie Smidler Animal Rescue Memorial Fund is a charitable foundation inspired by Alicia's passion for helping people and their animals. We are dedicated to ending companion animal homelessness and stopping the killing of healthy and treatable pets.

Through a combination of various efforts, we work to help stop the euthanasia of healthy animals by keeping them out of shelters and in loving homes. We strive to achieve this mission by:
*Removing shelter animals at-risk of euthanasia and placing them in foster care where they can regain happiness and health as we work to find them a forever home
*Nurturing the human-animal bond between people and shelter dogs through behavioral training and complete vetting prior to adoption
*Assisting shelters with adoption efforts and veterinary care
*Hosting spay/neuter and TNR events for communities in-need
*Promoting and educating the public on responsible pet ownership
*Keeping animals with homes out of shelters by helping to provide veterinary care for pets whose owners are in need of assistance
