Many of the animals for adoption have been found on post but not claimed by an owner. Military regulation requires that all found animals be held for 3 business days, after which time they are available for adoption. Due to limited space and resources we are a kill shelter however we do work with rescue groups to try and give the animals a second chance on life.

If you would like to put your pet up for adoption but don't want to take them to the shelter we can advertise your pet on petfinder, facebook and adopt-a-pet. Call or come in for more information.
